Courtesy calls
As a reminder and to help reduce missed appointments, we may contact you by phone with a courtesy call prior to your scheduled appointment. This call, made on behalf of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is intended to confirm your attendance and answer any basic questions you may have.
Please ensure your contact details are up to date with your GP practice/referring clinician to receive these reminders.
Did Not Attend (DNA) Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to cancel or rearrange. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in need.
If you do not attend your appointment without informing us in advance, you may be discharged from the service and will need to be re-referred by your GP. Repeated missed appointments may result in further action in line with NHS policy.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as early as possible—ideally at least 24 hours in advance. This helps us manage our clinics efficiently and offer the slot to another patient.
