What happens at the clinic?

The test is preformed overnight in your own home. Therefore when attending our clinic, your appointment is about ensuring that you are confident using the device which will monitor your sleep. For your first appointment, the clinic runs 3 afternoon group sessions to teach you how to use the device and any important information.

The next morning you will be required to return the device to our clinic. On your return, you will be asked to wait for 20 minutes while we download the data. During this time you will need to fill in a questionnaire. If we do not have enough data for your report, you may be asked to repeat the entire process again, returning the device the following day.

Results

All results are sent to the respiratory medicine department for reporting. This report will then be sent to your referrer. We do not process or give any results onsite.

Support:
You can bring a relative or friend, but they will not be able to come into the scan with you. We also ask that you refrain from bringing any unattended children to your appointments.
